6 Delicious Weight Loss Drinks That Burn Fat

Hi everyone! Today we will be talking about drinks that taste great- who doesn’t love a good tasty drink? Drinking a little something throughout the dayin the morning, or after dinner is a satiating way for me (and you!) to get a treat in without having to eat a dessert or snack.

There are so many different types of weight loss drinks out there so let’s break down some of the best ones that can actually benefit you and TASTE great!

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: First off, I am not a dietitian. Second, these drinks won’t necessarily burn fat but they will help you stay full after meals, making overeating impossible. These drinks are also to try and replace sugary drinks (which will also help you lose weight). Some drinks, you need to be careful about out there that are labeled as ‘fat burning’. They are considered laxatives and can make you dehydrated if you rely on them. Just want to make this clear! But also, the only way to lose weight is to be in a caloric deficit.

Here are 6 delicious weight loss drinks that burn fat!

1. Delicious Tasting Tea

If you’re like me, sometimes drinking tea can be boring and unsatisfying BUT if you pick the right kind of tea, doctor it up, and understand the health benefits of tea you may be able to appreciate its nutritional effects more. It’s fun to choose a cool tea that has a unique flavor without spending too much money and wasting calories on high sugar drinks. The best part? These are all on Amazon (links below) and are CHEAPER than the store!

2. Apple Cider Bomb

I know what you are thinking, not another apple cider vinegar drink! I hate it! Well, never fear I am going to give you a few tips to make this classic taste so good you will actually ENJOY it while losing the weight.

The reason why this drink is so popular and amazing is that it makes you fuller for a longer period of time so you don’t over consume calorically dense snacks and meals. It also burns fat and increases metabolism during the day.

How to make an ACV bomb:

2-4 tsp Apple cider vinegar

1 cup Warm Water

1 tsp Blackstrap molasses or honey

OR

2-4 tsp ACV

8oz of warm water

1 Cinnamon flavored or lemon flavored tea bag

1 tbs Lemon Juice

3.  Bulletproof Latte

We all know how popular the keto diet is right now for weight-loss so you have probably heard of the infamous Bulletproof Coffee. This is one of my favorite drinks on the list for starting my day off great and energized. Sensitive to coffee? No problem, there are also a couple of different ways to switch it up and still have a bulletproof latte. The reason why these calorically dense lattes are perfect for fat loss is that it keeps you fuller for longer and is an incredibly satiating meal replacement. Because it keeps you fuller for longer, it will help you not overeat on calories.

My Go-to variations of bulletproof coffee or tea:

1-2 cups of Light Roast Coffee*

1 tsp- 1 tbs of High-quality MCT Oil (like this one) or Coconut Oil

2 Tbs of Coconut milk or Unsweetened Silk Almond milk

½ tsp of Jordans Skinny Syrup Carmel Pecan

Pinch of salt

Make sure to blend this up in a blender so it can be absorbed and taste great! Its creamy, warm, comforting, and frothy which is the perfect way to start the morning and it will give you a better boost of energy than regular coffee.

*You can swap out the coffee for Matcha Green TeaEarl Grey Tea, Black tea, or Chai tea bag.

4. Pretty Water

Pretty water is also known as detox water and is a delicious fruit infused water that is great for increasing your H2O levels. This water is so yummy and a lot less boring than normal water. One way to make this water is by putting ice cold water in a big dispenser jug ( like this one)and throwing fruit in it OR getting a diffuser water bottle for on the go. The way this water works is the same as ACV and a great way to burn fat and boost metabolism during the day!

Also any water is important, this will make you lose weight more than any drink on this list! Get a cute water bottle to encourage and motivate you to drink more:)

Pretty Water example recipes include:

1 lemon sliced, 2 tbs of edible lavender buds

½ of peeled cucumber, 5 sliced strawberries 1 tbs of lemon juice

1 sliced lemon, 10 blackberries

You can also add mint leaves or play around with different herbs and fruits to make this taste great.

5. Ginger Honey Water

Ginger water is a fat burning machine because the spiciness of the root can flush out your digestion system to make you feel fresh and clear you of bloating. I love this water because it can increase metabolism burning fat during the day while tasting delicious!

Here’s how to make the best ginger water:

  • 1 tbs of fresh sliced and peeled ginger
  • One cup of water (boiling)
  • 1 -2 tsp of Honey
  • 1 TBS of Lemon Juice

Add all ingredients to water while boiling. After 5-7 minutes, strain through a fine-mesh strainer and enjoy in a cozy mug for the best benefits! You can drink this hot or iced. This is a great tea for the flu as well.

5. Chocolate Protein Frosty

Protein is such a satiating food which is perfect for getting your day started to kick ass in the morning. an I suggest making a delicious protein shake with almond milk or creating a frosty (my favorite).

Low-carb Protein Frosty:

1 cup Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk

2 scoops of Orgain Chocolate Protein Powder

 1 TBS of Hemp seeds

 1 frozen Banana

½ TBS Creamy Peanut Butter

7 Ice Cubes

Blend up in high-speed blender and enjoy!

These are the best fat burning drinks that I love to have on a daily basis when I am craving something sweet without all of the calories and need something satiating. These drinks will definitely be worth your while to make so you can boost your weight loss journey and highly recommend it!
